Falls Church City Public Schools (FCCPS)

  • FCCPS plans to present a draft version of its reopening plan on Tuesday, June 9, 2020.
  • On June 16, the school board will hold a work session to further discuss how the continuum of instruction will work.

Frederick County Public Schools (FCPS)

  • FCPS is preparing for several different reopening scenarios, including in-person, virtual learning, and a hybrid of the two.
  • FCPS will provide a formal update on the reopening of schools on July 21, 2020, following its school board meeting.

Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS)

  • LCPS is working with stakeholder focus groups to determine the best models for returning in the fall.

Prince William County Schools (PWCS)

  • As of now, PWCS intends to reopen normally on August 25, 2020. However, they are developing plans for the potential of continued virtual learning, along with other possible scenarios.
